UNLV men’s basketball will make at least 21 appearances on television to a national audience during the 2018-19 season as the Mountain West announced its broadcast package Wednesday.
The Runnin’ Rebels will be seen on a ESPN national television channel at least six times this season, with another three possible after the network finalizes its selections. UNLV also has eight regular-season games scheduled for CBS Sports Network, six on AT&T SportsNet and one on the Big Ten Network. Additional games will be available online through ESPN3 and the Mountain West Network.
Game times and some date shifts were also announced Wednesday. UNLV had a total of five games that were previously scheduled on Wednesdays moved to Tuesdays, including three at home: New Mexico (Tuesday, Jan. 22), UNR (Tuesday, Jan. 29) and Air Force (Tuesday, Feb. 12).

The 2019 Air Force Reserve MW Men’s Basketball Championship begins Wednesday, March 13 and concludes Saturday, March 16 at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center. The first round will be broadcast on the MWN with the quarterfinal and semifinal games on CBS Sports Network. The Championship game on Saturday will begin at 3:00 pm on CBS.

UNLV IN 2018-19: Head Coach Marvin Menzies enters his third season at the helm of the program in 2018-19. The Runnin’ Rebels return seven players plus two transfer redshirts from their 20-win season in 2017-18. It marked a nine-game improvement in the win column from the previous year and was UNLV’s first 20-win season since 2013-14. The program’s 2018 recruiting class includes six newcomers (all freshmen) and has been ranked No. 2 in the Mountain West.
